Our team is growing.

We have an immediate opening for an Environmental Specialist to work on a wide variety of transportation projects under the supervision of mid-level and senior environmental professionals in our Texas offices.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with gathering data and preparing environmental report documentation under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
  • Assist with technical studies (including noise/air, waters and biological studies) and preparation of technical reports for various agencies including the Texas Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
  • Review census data and assist with Community Impact Assessments, including land use and environmental justice analyses.
  • Assist with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Analyze data using ArcGIS.
  • Assist with field work.
  • Assist with the development of public outreach materials and stakeholder involvement related to planning and environmental studies.

Qualifications:


  • B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Science, Biology, Planning or related field.
  • 1 to 4 years' professional experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel). Experience with MS PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Basic knowledge of ArcGIS.
  • Ability to take detailed field notes, including photo logs and environmental descriptions.
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Compensation Range:
$60, $80,313.00
