YOUR TRAINING ELEMENTS

You have already chosen one of the most important professions in the world and contribute to ensuring the nutrition of your fellow human beings. Your training as a farmer has already begun and now you want to learn more about grains, potatoes, sugar beets and more. You are also interested in research and experimentation. Then you are exactly right with us. At our field research station in Limburgerhof, you will learn the basics of modern plant cultivation, plant nutrition and plant protection. You will operate modern agricultural machinery as well as special machines for experimentation. Because your "green thumb" also helps to develop solutions for implementing experimental questions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • at least a good secondary school leaving certificate
  • legal age and possession of a class T driver's license
  • completed first year of training or previous knowledge from agriculture
  • interest in the biology of plants and soil
  • carefulness, sense of responsibility and independence
  • physical resilience
  • willingness to work flexible hours and enjoy working outdoors
