Service Manager
Company that manufactures rotating machinery needs a person to handle the post-sale customer support for the clientele.


Responsibilities:


  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries and spare parts requests with quotes and orders to offer top notch customer support.
  • Research for the correct parts from each job's bill of materials and update costing.
  • Maintain the customer warranty and nonwarranty issues independently.
  • Working with field service and engineering to help out with the various troubleshooting and resolving problems that customers face with products.
  • Schedule the field service technician visits as necessary.

Required:


  • HS diploma. Preference given to associate's degree or BS in mechanical engineering.
  • Must have 5 years of experience with customer service for a manufacturing company.
  • Mechanical aptitude or side hobby working mechanically under the hood of a car or even mechanical work on motorcycle.
  • Must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal).
  • Problem solver type of mindset is ideal.
  • MS Office and other computer software skills are very important.
