Description
We are looking for a professional dog trainer in Cedar Grove, NM to work with our 3-year-old mixed breed Mastiff. She seems to have some reactivity, possibly due to past experiences, but we are not sure. She does not allow unfamiliar dogs to approach her and will bark and lunge if they come too close. However, if they are at a distance, she remains alert but does not react. She also shows signs of reactivity towards cats and strangers, barking and pulling on the leash. We would like to address these issues and help her overcome her fears. We also want her to respond better to our voice and focus on us in any situation. We would like her to be able to control her instincts to bark at every noise outside and to not run towards other dogs or animals. We have tried to correct these behaviors on our own, but we feel it is time to seek professional help. Our ultimate goal is to be able to let her off-leash in safe areas, confident that she can interact with other dogs and respond to our commands. We also want her to be able to ride in the car and enjoy new experiences without any issues.
