At the University of Bremen, in the Department of Social Sciences, the Institute of Geography is currently seeking to fill the position of:


Research Associate (m/f/d)

in the project "PH:
regBi - Planetary Health in Regional Education"


Salary group 13 TV-L / 19.6 hours per week (50%)

This position is subject to approval and is available at the earliest possible date for a period of 3 years.

It is explicitly suitable for qualification within the scope of a doctorate.

  • The position is limited to the duration of scientific qualification according to § 2 para. 1 WissZeitVG (Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act). Therefore, only applicants who still have the corresponding qualification periods according to § 2 para. 1 WissZeitVG can be considered.

Job description:


The project aims to develop learning modules on the topic of Planetary Health, in which students from grades 5 to 13 are empowered to recognize the consequences of climate change for individual and global health, as well as to develop and test options for sustainable and climate-resilient design of their local environment.

The project involves cooperation with various experts, regional companies, and non-school educational institutions and schools.


Your
tasks include, among others:


  • Design, implementation, and evaluation of learning modules on the topic of Planetary Health
  • Design and implementation of your own doctoral
