The House for Children "SieKids - Jürgen-Schmieder-Haus" in St.

Ingbert-Straße in Munich was opened in 2007 as a model of a public-private partnership with the city of Munich and Siemens, under the management of AWO.

In September 2017, the daycare was expanded with a kindergarten group.

The House for Children has 72 daycare spots for children aged 9 weeks to 3 years, as well as 25 kindergarten spots for children aged 2.10 years to school age.

The spots are available for children of Siemens employees and for children from the Munich area
