  • 1+ years of data analysis and formula creation in Microsoft Excel experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills must submit a writing sample that will demonstrate proficient writing with correct grammar and punctuation

Amazon's Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Team is seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Administrator to support the execution of large scale process standardization, automation, and improvement initiatives across a rapidly growing area of Amazon's North American middle mile space.

This role will support the management of scalable programs, mechanisms, and culture that will ensure regulatory compliance for our drivers and assets.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support TOM field operations to ensure compliance with all FMCSA regulations and improve regulatory compliance performance of Amazon's CMV/CDL program
  • Conduct virtual audits (through various online dashboards) as needed, to review driver qualification files (DQF), drug/alcohol program, vehicle inspections, hours of service (HOS), electronic logging device (ELD) mandate and other items associated with FMCSA regulations.
  • Support the maintenance and retention of both paperbased and electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
  • Clarify supporting document requirements so that drivers can comply efficiently with HOS regulations.
  • Analyze compliance metrics to discover trends and partner with program managers around opportunities to update training/processes where high risk is identified.
  • Identify, escalate, and participate in addressing, policy and program exceptions.
  • Partner with other Amazon teams to ensure all DOT compliance requirements are met at both the federal and state level, where applicable.

  • Experience with endtoend project management
  • Knowledge of VBA and Excel Macro creation and modification
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience
