Responsibilities


For the MICROBIOLOGY department:

- checking and registering incoming samples
- detection of microbial pathogens in various areas such as respiratory, urine, stool, and fungal diagnostics
- microscopy including differential staining and fluorescence staining
- identification of pathogens using MALDI-TOF, biochemical reactions, and agglutination
- resistance testing using Vitek 2 and agar diffusion tests, followed by technical validation
- molecular biological investigations using BD MAX
- operation of laboratory-specific software


For the ROUTINE LABORATORY department:

- the laboratory operates 24/7, so late and night shifts may be required
- the laboratory work includes all areas (except microbiology): clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, infection serology, protein diagnostics, urine diagnostics, capillary blood sugar

Qualifications


We expect from you:

- completed training as a medical technical assistant or equivalent
- solid knowledge of German (B2-C1)
- independent and reliable work ethic
- quick comprehension and willingness to learn new things
- dedicated and service-oriented teamwork
