Tacoma, VA - Immediate Start - Workplace: 94491 Hengersberg (DE)
What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing new workwear models/collections
- Technical product development from prototype to production readiness
- Coordinating product development
- Creating technical documents such as descriptions, size charts, etc.
- Optimizing products in terms of quality, fit, construction, and materials
- Conducting fit tests
- Maintaining and revising production documents
- Pattern development
- Sourcing materials, components, and suppliers
- Trend and fabric research
- Product optimization and evaluation through wear tests
- Translating customer requirements into a product
- Working closely with purchasing, quality control, sustainability, and sample group
- Communicating independently with suppliers
- Attending trade fairs and willingness to travel
What You Bring:
- Degree in clothing technology or a comparable education in pattern and clothing technology
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in clothing development, preferably in the development of workwear
- Assertiveness and analytical thinking skills
- Knowledge of pattern making, preferably in the CAD system Assyst
- Enthusiasm and sense for innovative trends
- Team player
- Good German and English skills
