Duration:6+ months, excellent potential to be extended or converted to full time


Rate:
Bill rate: $65 per hour / Pay rate: C2C $55 per hour & W2 $47 per hour


POSITION:

We are actively looking for an experienced Business Analyst in our New York City office.

The role will require extensive interaction with all levels of the Healthcare team including the senior bankers and all Investment banking teams.

As a Business Analyst on the Healthcare team, you will gain exposure to all facets of investment banking business, across all industry groups and products.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide support to the Global Heads of Healthcare and the Healthcare COO in a fast growing and evolving business environment.
  • Work with senior bankers to track deal opportunities and revenue.
  • Maintain and implement proprietary databases used to track M&A activity.
  • Coordinate weekly committee calls and approvals.
  • Track and update coverage lists.
  • Assist in organizing Healthcare conferences.
  • Prepare deal focused marketing materials.
  • Liaise with external financial data firms.
  • Act as point of contact for data on Healthcare transactions and wider market data.
  • Work will be both on the business and support functions side and will cover, among other things, pipeline, market research, graphic presentations, reporting and administration.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND:


  • Prior experience in banking/finance is preferred.
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented approach to tasks with focus on accuracy and ability to add insight.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong organization skills.
  • Entrepreneurial/selfstarter mindset
  • Understanding of Investment Banking transaction types including M&A and Capital Markets would be a plus.

$ $55.00 per hour
