Your Responsibilities

  • You will commission machines, special machines, and systems worldwide, with a 65% travel requirement
  • Onsite, you will conduct precommissioning inspections and troubleshoot any issues, potentially involving the back office in Germany
  • You will review documentation and identify any potential errors or problems
  • You will start up and accompany the trial operation of machines or systems
  • Additionally, you are comfortable working with control cabinets when issues arise
  • Finally, you will provide technical training to onsite personnel, handling interactions with the customer's employees from different cultural backgrounds with tact and diplomacy

Your Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering/automation engineering or have relevant experience as a technician
  • Throughout your career, you have gained extensive experience in PLC programming, visualization, and commissioning
  • You are proficient in Siemens Step 7/TIA Portal and WinCC/WinCC flexible or other PLC/visualization tools
  • You are able to communicate effectively in English. Good knowledge of German and/or other languages is an advantage
  • You have a selfmotivated and independent work style
  • You are willing to travel extensively
