Minimum Qualifications


Seven years of experience supporting data warehouse and data integration activities, ETL process development, SQL, and Unix Scripting and Scheduling, including at least one year of supervisory experience.

The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated:

  • Associate's degree and six years of experience
  • Associate's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and five years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and four years of experience
  • Master's degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience
  • Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional 2 years of experience

Duties Description


Under the direction Manager of Information Technology Services 2, SG-29, within Shared Platform Services, Data Management Services, Extract Transform Load (ETL) Team, the Project Coordinator will play a critical role in design and development, SQL performance tuning, data analysis, Unix Scripting and Scheduling, ETL process development, and data integration solutions.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform hands-on business analysis, project management, technical maintenance, data integration, information architecture design, Unix scripting and scheduling, and data evaluation.
  • Participate in activities such as data warehouse, data integration, data analysis, data movement, and data manipulation across various database platforms.
  • Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development to support data warehouse and data integration activities.
  • Use Structured Query Language (SQL) to support data integration, ad hoc queries, and reporting activities.
  • Lead meetings and discussions with both Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) and agency staff to determine data requirements.
  • Implement best practices in design and dimensional modeling and database design.
  • Design, develop and implement data integration solutions.
  • Design, develop and deploy business intelligence/database client tools and solutions.
  • Plan, schedule and manage project work.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise DBA to support various database activities.
  • Upgrade legacy data movement/integration processes.
  • Develop and execute data migration plans for data movement or data platform migration.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support data integration staff.
  • Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
