The LOS in Saluda, VA has been successfully supporting children and parents in all matters related to diagnostics and support for dyslexia and reading and writing difficulties for over 27 years.


The LOS Saluda, VA is currently seeking a pedagogue (m/f/d) on a freelance basis to join our team at the Saluda location.

Our support work is scientifically accompanied and success is regularly monitored. We can also provide sustainable help for dyslexia and severe reading and writing disorders.


Responsibilities:

  • Planning and conducting support lessons in German or English
  • Supporting children, adolescents, and adults with spelling difficulties
  • Helping people who suffer from dyslexia or reading and writing difficulties

Qualifications:

  • Degree in pedagogy or psychology
  • Social workers, educators, and teachers are generally eligible on a freelance basis.
  • Enjoyment of small group support (610 people)
  • Pedagogical supervision of children during online work on the computer
  • Confident appearance with strong customer orientation
  • Goaloriented work
  • Technical understanding for virtual learning
  • Proficient in spoken and written German
