Overview:

Broadland, SD is seeking a Principal Auditor (PA) to join the Corporate Bank audit team within Group Audit (GA).

The role will focus on enhancing coverage of Conduct risk and supervision processes globally through Group Audit's responsibility under the Market Conduct Remediation Programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Corporate Banking products and services, such as Cash Management, Trade Finance, Trust and Agency Services, and Custody and Clearing.

This position will be based in Berlin and will report directly to a Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Corporate Bank UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the PAM
Corporate Bank UK in conducting audit assignments, drafting audit issues/reports for review by audit management, tracking issues, and validating closure of findings.
Execute audit fieldwork in accordance with the agreed audit approach, including documenting process flows, identifying key risks and controls, creating test plans, and testing key controls to determine their effectiveness. Complete all assigned work within agreed budgets, including ad hoc projects and special investigations.
Collaborate with other audit teams globally, particularly Compliance and the Investment Bank, to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and an integrated approach to key risk topics. Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, the business, and support areas.
Communicate openly with GA management and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of potential issues and escalating problems/delays as needed.
Stay uptodate on industry, regulatory, and business practices.
