Job Description
Our stores are the heart of METRO. Here, our professional customers from the gastronomy industry can find a wide selection of high-quality food and tailored assortments.

In order to make the visit to METRO an inspiration and a profitable business for our customers, we rely on highly trained employees and managers.

Take the helm, shape the assortments, and make our customers happy. With our trainee program, we provide you with all the necessary tools.

In 18 months, we will train you on the job, in various stores, including abroad, and with excellent training, so that you can become an assistant store manager (operations manager) in one of our stores.

This will give you all the opportunities for a great career with an internationally successful wholesaler.

Trainee Program Sales Overview:

12 months of training in one of our wholesale stores: During this phase, you will get to know all departments and processes of our stores
2 months as a department manager: Here, you have the chance to try out a leadership position. You will also gain a deeper understanding of the processes
