Rur has been a partner and first point of contact for 33 municipal administrations in the Cologne area for over 40 years, providing IT services and solutions for all IT related matters in town halls and county offices.

We offer our customers a comprehensive range of services - from providing municipal specialist software to supplying professional IT infrastructures. The kdvz employs around 150 employees in Frechen and has been successfully training IT professionals for years.

What to expect In a complex IT infrastructure, you will develop and implement solutions and ensure the administration and smooth operation of IT processes.

You will be responsible for the planning, installation, and administration of network and communication systems and their associated infrastructure.

What tasks you will take on Conceptualization, documentation, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructures and services such as customer connections, network security systems, VPN solutions, identification and evaluation of potential security risks, as well as conceptualization and implementation of measures to mitigate risks, network segmentation, preparation, and implementation of rules on network security systems, participation in IT projects in the field of network infrastructure, support of network management systems, 2nd level support in a team with the support of a ticket system.
