Power Electronics Systems Architect

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global leader in energy technology. As a result of their ongoing success, they are seeking to hire a Power Electronics Systems Architect to focus on the development of power electronics systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting design simulations using MATLAB, Simulink, or PLECS.
  • Overseeing system architecture and ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Breaking down complex power electronic systems into manageable subsystems.
  • Specifying subsystem/component interactions and interfaces.
  • Identifying appropriate technologies and resources for design and implementation.
  • Testing electronic systems and modules according to specified parameters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a strong focus on power electronics.
  • Extensive professional experience in hardware design, development, and testing of power electronic converter systems, preferably in medium voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with common IEC/EN standards and their practical application.
  • Proficiency in writing technical documents.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent English language skills.
