Overview

Our finance lawyers in Germany focus on leveraged finance, corporate lending, acquisition financing, real estate finance, infrastructure and project finance, derivatives and structured finance, debt capital markets, asset finance, and restructuring and capital solutions.

Role Summary/Purpose of Job

The primary focus of the Knowledge Lawyer will be on banking transactions, specifically in the areas of leveraged finance, corporate and acquisition finance, infrastructure finance, and real estate finance.

Freshfields is a leading firm in Germany, ranked Band 1 for Banking & Finance in Chambers Europe, and we advise clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions across various industries.

The Knowledge Lawyer will work closely with our partners and other lawyers, and will also cover general finance topics relevant to our practice, such as subordination, security, and guarantees.

The Knowledge Lawyer will bring deep expertise in this area and a willingness to continue developing in this space, with the goal of:
