Unionville 'BUHMANN' is looking for apprentices

You probably already know us - why?

We package the products that are in your refrigerator.

Our focus is on packaging - and almost everything needs to be packaged: from potato salad to mozzarella and cheese slices, to ice pops, gummy candies, and hamburgers.


We produce:
Packaging machines according to individual customer requirements

Industrial mechanics (m/f/d)


Training content:
Teaching basic metalworking skills

For example:
filing, drilling, turning, etc.

Manufacturing individual components through conventional machining and CNC production for our special machine construction

Learning various measurement and testing methods in quality assurance

From the 2nd year of training:
Specialization in one of our two specific areas

Precision equipment construction

Manufacturing of highly precise parts according to construction drawings in CNC-controlled machining

Machine and plant construction

Assembly of our packaging machines

You should bring the following requirements:
Qualified secondary school diploma or higher school diploma

Good technical understanding

Manual dexterity

Precise and accurate work style


Duration of training:
3 1/2 years (can be shortened to 3 years)


Vocational school (Lindau):
1st year: block schooling

2nd and 3rd year: 1 1/2 days per week

4th year: 1 day per week
