The Lower Building and Monument Protection Authority, in the Office for Building Law and Environment, is responsible for the implementation of building permit procedures and for construction supervision in 13 municipalities in the district of Konstanz.

The tasks of the Building and Monument Protection Authority also include advising the building owners, planning offices, and municipalities on all building planning and building code matters.

In addition, the tasks in the field of monument protection are also carried out here.


We are looking for a Technical Building Expert (m/f/d) for this area as soon as possible.

Your new tasks:


  • You independently process building applications and inquiries, check the completeness of the submitted documents, and involve the specialist authorities affected by the construction project.
  • You perform construction supervision tasks and participate in the implementation of fire prevention inspections.
  • You advise building owners, design planners, and municipalities on the planning and execution of construction projects.
  • You carry out the tasks of the Lower Monument Protection Authority, in particular advising property owners, issuing monument protection
