*What to expect

You will primarily be involved in the annual and consolidated financial statement audits of companies in the financial services industry, particularly banks and credit institutions, according to German GAAP and IFRS, using a risk-oriented audit approach.
In this context, you will extensively analyze business models, processes, and results, supporting the audit and evaluation of business organization and handling all issues related to accounting, valuation, risk control, and management.
Your responsibilities will also include auditing credit, custody, and securities transactions, as well as preparing statements on regulatory topics.
Special projects in the regulatory environment, as well as regular and ad-hoc special audits according to § 44 of the German Banking Act on behalf of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) (e.g. organizational, credit, and coverage audits), complete your area of responsibility.

*What you bring

Degree in economics, (business) informatics, or (business) mathematics
Ideally, some initial work experience through relevant internships or a banking apprenticeship
