Core Responsibilities

Plans and schedules work to ensure compliance with Company procedures and engineering specifications.
Ensures subordinates' work activities are performed in a safe manner and in accordance with established policies, operating procedure, engineering plans and specifications.
Plans, organizes, schedules and assigns personnel to meet operating conditions.
Certifies, accounts for, and approves expenditures for labor, materials, supplies, and equipment within prescribed limits.
Enforces good housekeeping practices for equipment and work areas, monitors firstline safety programs, and compliance with corporate policy instructions.
Ensures implementation of health and safety programs for employees.
Performs other related duties and assignment as required.

Required Education/Experience

Relevant Work Experience

Two years' previous supervisory experience Preferred
Required technical experience will include knowledge of the operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, and construction of electrical equipment including motors, relays, transformers and circuit breakers.
Must demonstrate a high energy level; have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, operating/field personnel and management. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able to work in all type of weather conditions for extended periods of time.
Must be medically approved for respirator fit testing and use.
