Data Engineer - Lake Barrington

100% Remote Working (must reside in Germany)

Salary: €85,000

Our client, a leading global sports retailer with thousands of stores worldwide, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Lake Barrington. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.

You will:

  • Data Platform Development: Create, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines within our Snowflake environment to ensure efficient data flow and storage.
  • Workflow Management: Establish and manage data workflows using Prefect to ensure reliable scheduling, orchestration, and monitoring of data tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other technology team members to meet the organization's data needs.
  • Data Integration: Consolidate data from various sources to ensure consistency and accessibility for reporting and analytics purposes.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, optimize data processes, and address any data-related challenges.
  • Best Practices: Promote and implement best practices in data management, security, quality assurance, and privacy protection.
  • Innovation: Continuously explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the capabilities of the data platform.
