is seeking a Caritas Coordinator (m/f/d) for the Dekanat Hochsauerland-Ost, starting on March 1st, 2023 or at a later date, in a part-time position.


As a non-profit, Catholic organization, the Caritas Association Brilon employs 1,200 staff members in 60 services and facilities for people with disabilities, elderly care, addiction and family support, as well as counseling and support services in the former district of Brilon in the Hochsauerlandkreis and Waldeck.

The position is directly assigned to the board of the Caritas Association.

Based on the strategic goals of the Caritas Association Brilon and your analysis of social and pastoral conditions, annual goals will be set and implemented.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing social challenges and developing solutions in cooperation with employees from the pastoral and Caritas sectors
  • Promoting social areaoriented action
  • Recruiting, supporting and promoting volunteers in the diakonic fields of action
  • Supporting and developing social institutions, especially those of the Caritas Association Brilon, in the context of pastoral work
  • Actively developing, shaping and supporting socialpastoral projects, actions and initiatives
  • Participation in pastoral committees of the Dekanat
