The Regional Association of the Rhineland (LVR) is currently seeking a

Pedagogical Specialist (m/f/d) for an Intensive Pedagogical Small Group for LVR Youth Services Rhineland, Solingen.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of a maximum of five boys with a team
  • Pedagogical and organizational responsibility
  • Observing and promoting the individual situation and developmental level of the young people in your care
  • Cooperation and coordination with therapeutic services
  • Night and weekend shifts

Your Profile:

Requirements for the Position:

  • You have a degree in social pedagogy or are a staterecognized educator or have a comparable qualification.

Desired Qualifications:

  • You are responsible, openminded, and creative
  • You possess good communication skills
  • You have a high level of empathy and the ability to show appreciation and see things from different perspectives
  • You enjoy working in a team and have good organizational skills
  • You are interested in living and contributing to our pedagogical concept
  • You are able to handle the challenges of working with disadvantaged and/or traumatized children and adolescents and have the ability for selfreflection
  • Knowledge of relevant legal regulations in youth welfare (SGB VIII) round out your profile.
