The Institute for Medical and Pharmaceutical Examination Questions (IMPP) is responsible for the content of important parts of the nationwide state examinations in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, and psychotherapeutic training, and in the near future also dentistry, in close cooperation with expert committees.

New examination formats are being tested. The spectrum of previously predominantly written state examinations has been expanded to include parcours examinations.

As the central institution of all federal states with headquarters in Mainz, the IMPP plays a significant role in ensuring the quality of education and providing high-quality healthcare for our population.
