- Supports HUSD Vision, Mission, and Goals.
- Provides onsite support and leads all training of Kids Club staff.
- Ensures proper DES & DHS program standards are met at all Kids Club sites.
- Ensures all sites are properly equipped with supplies to carry out the programing needs.
- Ensures appropriate daily staffing and coverage at Kids Club sites.
- Assists with staff interviews and reference checks.
- Collaborates with the Community Programs Supervisor to plan and implement all seasonal camps.
- Acts as a liaison for Community Education by coordinating enrichment activities with vendors and school staff.
- Evaluates site activity assistants.
- Leads Higley Youth Sports League & Enrichment Activities.
- Develops and implements the marketing strategy for programs to include all media resources.
- Updates department website.
- Creates and maintains various forms of communication, including flyers, message boards, press releases, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum qualifications include two years of experience working in the capacity of a Site Program Leader.
- Prefer course work in childcare program.
- Must have combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have working knowledge of state licensing requirements.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Requires TB test clearance within the last six months.
- Proof of immunizations against measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, and pertussis or able to obtain immunizations.
- Ability to pass background and reference check as stipulated by District standards.
- Must meet state licensing requirements for inservice and professional training each year.
- Must provide a valid Arizona driver's license.
- Frequent communication with parents, students, and staff including the exchange of accurate information.
- Frequent interaction with students by bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles, bending legs at knee to come to rest on knees, or sitting on the floor requiring to resume an upright position.
- Moving about on foot and remaining on one's feet in an upright position while supervising student(s).
- Raising or lowering an object from one level ranging from 2550 lbs.
- Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force or towards the force.
- Ascending and descending small ladder with agility.
- Required to have visual acuity to perform activities with student(s).
