The company develops and produces high-volume, sophisticated optics for renowned laser manufacturers, as well as individual components for research institutions and universities worldwide. The production includes both fine optics manufacturing (flat surfaces, lenses, aspheres) and their coating using modern sputtering and vapor deposition processes.

Your responsibilities:

Producing excellent ground surfaces and contours on complex glass components using computer-controlled grinding machines
Measuring the manufactured geometries on manual measuring devices and automated measuring systems according to specified requirements
Selecting suitable tools and program parameters for the respective process steps and machining equipment
Inspecting and evaluating the work results for surface cleanliness according to customer specifications
Close collaboration with technologists and developers

Your profile:

Professional knowledge corresponding to a completed vocational training as a precision optician, industrial mechanic, precision engineering technician, machining mechanic, or work experience in optics manufacturing
Extensive knowledge in machining components with CNC machining equipment
High sense of responsibility, reliability, teamwork, and communication skills
Willingness to work in shifts (two-shift system)
