Thesis - Concept Development for Lane Change Process in Longitudinal/Transverse Driver Assistance Systems:

We are happy to offer you the opportunity to complete an internship with us before starting your thesis, in order to dive deeper into the topic.


Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for developing methods to improve the detection accuracy of lane markings.
  • You will research and evaluate different filtering methods for lane markings and fuse the data (e.g. Kalman filter).
  • You will expand the camera data with a holistic fusion approach (e.g. radar/ultrasound/Car2X) to ensure accuracy.
  • Your task will be to prototype and test on the Autobox.

Profile:


  • You are studying in the STEM field (e.g. mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field).
  • You have experience in software development and programming in C/C++ or Matlab.
  • You are interested in driver assistance systems and autonomous driving.
  • You have a structured and independent working style
