This position is part of the Corporate & Investment Bank Compliance team and works closely with the EMEA Regulatory Management team (part of the larger EMEA Compliance Department) responsible for overseeing and coordinating engagement with regulators for J.P.

Morgan SE (JPMSE).


Responsibilities:

The role reports to the J.P. Morgan SE Head of Regulatory Management;
The individual will act as the main point of contact for managing J.P. Morgan's relationship with the European Central Bank (ECB) and other EU regulators (such as Bundesbank, BaFin, CSSF). These are active and demanding regulatory relationships that require significant focus and attention from the individual in this role.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with the supervision teams for all regulators and other relevant staff;
  • Overseeing the schedule of meetings with regulators, ensuring smooth logistics and preparing senior management and others for these meetings;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of information to regulators and tracking various deliverables, both regular and adhoc. Reviewing the quality of submissions and taking action as needed, keeping records of meetings and agreed actions/deliverables;
  • Participating in work planning discussions with regulators to ensure the firm is aware of their future agenda;
  • Taking a lead role in daytoday communications with regulators;
  • Proactively considering the overall relationship with regulators and ensuring the firm is interacting with them in an open and cooperative manner;
