We are looking for you as a System Administrator for Remote Control Technology at Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Berlin.


Your responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and monitoring of a control system, especially servers and network technology, as well as supporting systems such as video, telephone, air conditioning, power supply, etc.
  • Planning, installation, and configuration of a remote control network including network technology and remote control components
  • Further development and optimization of the system landscape
  • Support of operational technology (OT) projects, such as implementing new systems and projects in close collaboration with the involved departments
  • Design and implementation of measures in the field of OT security

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable equivalent education
  • You have knowledge of the following protocols (IEC, Profibus, Mod-Bus, SNMP, etc.)
  • You have knowledge of network technology (routers, firewalls, etc.) and mobile and landline communication
  • You are an electrical specialist (message processing, measurement value processing, power supply)
  • Experience in clientserver structures under Windows and Linux, Syslog, monitoring, WSUS, SIEM, backup & virus protection is desirable
  • You enjoy developing new solutions and optimizing complex OT landscapes
  • You have a strong focus on finding solutions and have good technical skills
  • You will work in a small team, so crossfunctional skills are required, or the willingness to acquire them
