This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant's EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services.

EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must Have API / API Connect / DataPower Development skills:
Knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices
Experience in designing and development of SOAP/REST based Web Services.
Must be familiar with RESTful APIs and OAuth security considerations.
Strong knowledge in IBM API Connect based API lifecycle management activities from design through implementation.
Knowledgeable in creation of XSLT, XSD & WSDL
Understanding of DataPower services like multiprotocol gateways, web service proxies, firewalls
Experience in design and development of multiple services based on different standards for SOAP / REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and nonstandard services (APIs).
Familiarity with JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations using XSLT's.
Familiarity with implementing SLM's policies for throttling.
Familiarity in implementing OAuth2.0, SAML, and TLS 1.2 and mutual/2way SSL.
Experienced in design message models and schema using JSON, XSD, SOAP, WSDL, Cobol Copybook etc.
Good to have some knowledge on developing the different DataPower components such as WSP, MGP, Crypto, SSL profiles.
Understanding of Enterprise Architecture Governance processes.
Azure APIM is Good to have/ Plus.
Must have worked in onsite / offshore model.
Good communication skills, organized, multitasking, assertiveness are skills that will help being successful on this role.
Drive solution development through requirements gathering, analysis, discovery, business plan creation, and solution level of effort estimates.
Create endtoend integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high tech services.
Experience with Agile Methodology including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired.
Healthcare or Insurance/Financial services industry knowledge is preferred, but not required.
