The financial administration of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is looking to fill a permanent position as a government employee (m/f/d) at the Geilenkirchen tax office (NRW financial administration) as soon as possible.

The position will primarily be based at the Geilenkirchen tax office, with occasional work at the Erkelenz tax office.

The financial administration offers an interesting and diverse field of work as an employee of the Official Agricultural Experts (ALS), which includes both office work and occasional field work.

In this role, you will assist with the tax assessment of agricultural and forestry assets, as well as the income tax of farmers and foresters.

You will support the experts in their expert activities, particularly in the valuation of agricultural land.

Your main tasks in the office and field include:

Supporting the ALS, for example by creating site plans for agricultural and horticultural businesses, as well as delineating and calculating areas for farmsteads and greenhouses;
Conducting calculations for the valuation of agricultural and forestry businesses and horticultural areas (unit value, property tax value, real estate value), and working closely with those in the land office;
Using the geographical information system (GIS) and associated databases used in the financial administration;
Collecting georeferenced data using GPS software in the field;
Maintaining the (GISbased)
