• Holds a bachelor's degree or above.

This Position

• Receives immediate support from the Director of the Learning Enrichment Center and additional support from the Principal and the Assistant Principal

Function Statement

The Science Specialist shall provide all or some of the following as assigned by the Director of the Learning Enrichment Center.

• As a member of the Response to Intervention team, collaborate with teachers to ensure students' individual learning needs are met in oneonone tutoring sessions
• Collaborate with Science department to make recommendations regarding curriculum and instruction development and implementation
• Coordinate hall pass administration between study halls and Learning Enrichment Center
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility while working cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, and students
• Communicate frequently with the Learning Enrichment Center director to provide feedback and troubleshoot
• Other duties as assigned.

Required:

5 years as a Science teacher, expert in Science instruction and curriculum development


Working Conditions

• Work is executed in an office space with pleasant working conditions. This position is part time (30 hrs. a week).
