Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for finance.


Summary:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) AND financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment (Information Technology knowledge a plus)
  • Experience as a midlevel financial/budget analyst
  • Experience developing new financial reports and tracking and reporting on KPI's
  • Financial Analysis (be able to analyze and explain financial data)
  • Budget/Variance Analysis (be able to research and explain budget variances)
  • Excel (vlook ups, pivot tables, sumifs); experience creating and working with large linked excel files
  • Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts with a deep understanding of amortization and prepaids accounting entries
  • Experience creating, building and maintaining financial models
  • Experience working with a major financial ERP (i.e. Infor Lawson)
  • Experience working with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and external vendors and working with them to shepherd invoices and PO's through to final payment/execution. Be comfortable being responsible for seeing these items (and other financial processes) through to completion.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Must be able to multitask and meet multiple competing deadlines
  • Must be a reasonably quick learner.
  • Must be able to work independently under general direction.
