The district of Reutlingen is located in close proximity to the state capital Stuttgart and is part of the first biosphere reserve in Baden-Württemberg, known for its diverse economy and landscape.

At the district office, we are committed to people, nature, economy, and culture - always keeping the bigger picture in mind.


We are currently seeking responsible individuals to join our county youth welfare office as
social pedagogues or social workers for our General Social Services department.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:


  • Providing advice to parents, families, children, and adolescents in various life situations
  • Participating in family court proceedings
  • Organizing and planning individualized support services for children and families
  • Providing guidance to parents in separation and divorce situations
  • Collaborating with our partners in the community to provide social services
  • Protecting children and adolescents.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • A successfully completed degree in social work, social pedagogy, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently, responsibly, and reliably
  • Strong social skills, flexibility, and a sense of duty
  • Conflict resolution skills and assertiveness
  • Experience in systemic work with families and knowledge of social laws are an advantage
  • Proof of measles vaccination.
