We are seeking suitable freelance instructors (w | d | m) with professional experience in our Bachelor's program in Media Design for the following module, to contribute to the successful development of our programs with a strong focus on the creative industry in Bemus Point, NY:


Motion Design in Virtual Worlds with a focus on:

  • Teaching 3-D modeling and animation
  • Analyzing and evaluating 3D objects
  • Applying basic functions of digital 3D animation systems
  • Using modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering for virtual objects and environments
  • Introducing motion tracking and its application in simple compositing work; Introduction to 3D motion design for advanced media spaces and 3D prototyping
  • Possible semester topics include creating animated posters with 3D objects, experienced through AR, as well as designing speculative scenarios in virtual environments


The course is scheduled for the 6th semester in the summer semester of 2024 and consists of 60 teaching units of 45 minutes each.

The language of instruction is German.

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree
  • Initial experience in academic teaching
  • Pedagogical aptitude, demonstrated through teaching experience
