Amentum is currently seeking a Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our APS-2 contract in Germany. This individual will be responsible for performing a full range of maintenance and repairs on heavy wheeled equipment.

They will work as part of a team and may be required to travel to other sites for inspections and repairs.

Overtime may be necessary for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to perform the following essential duties:

Diagnose and correct system malfunctions on military heavy equipment such as PLS (M1120A4 M1075), LHS (M1074's), HEMMTs (M984A4, M978A4, etc.), FMTVs (M1078-M1089A1P2), STRYKERs, JLTV's (1278, 1280A1), and trailers (M1076, M1082, M1095, M870 series)
Dismantle and reassemble equipment using Technical Manuals (TM)
Perform annual service on equipment fleet
Overhaul, repair, and service all heavy wheeled equipment at the Field and Sustainment level of Maintenance
Inspect, repair, and replace components, engines, transmissions, and
