Job Description**The Salvage Vehicle Crusher Crew is responsible for working as a team to assist with crushing salvaged vehicles and other materials, ensuring that all materials are properly segregated and prepared for sale to customers, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork as a team to help the process of crushing salvaged vehicles and other materials.

Ensure that all materials are properly segregated and prepared for sale to customers, including ferrous and nonferrous metals, tires, and batteries.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials.
Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yards.
Proficiency in basic math skills and computer skills.
Valid driver's license

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
