Company Description


The Director, US Oncology Finance will report to the US Oncology Controller and is responsible for all aspects of Commercial FP&A for recently acquired ImmunoGen (IMGN) assets, mainly Elahere.

Responsibilities include partnering the with brand team to harmonize legacy IMGN processes with AbbVie best practices, driving FP&A for all financial planning cycles (Plan/LRP/LBEs), managing monthly/quarterly/year-end financial close and framing complex financial analytics in a manner suitable for executive consumption.

This leadership role involves collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and offers opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive harmonization of legacy IMGN processes with AbbVie best practices
  • Lead all aspects of FP&A for AbbVie's financial planning cycles (Plan / LRP / LBEs) and partner with Forecasting and the Brand team to deliver validated & well considered packages suitable for executive consumption
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial close processes and associated analysis and reporting, support the US Oncology Controller in driving the Quarterly Landing process
  • Partner and support the Brand team in managing SG&A deployment, tracking and optimization
  • Anticipate, evaluate and proactively adapt for emerging financial risks & opportunities
  • Integrate new Oncology products into existing processes as they transition from pipeline to onmarket
  • Deliver monthly reporting and KPI/Performance dashboards to track financial performance, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Manage and develop 1 direct report and contribute to building a highly positive & inclusive overall team culture
  • Adhoc analysis as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 10+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong financial, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong ability to operate within the gray and decide smart & sure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Superior communication skills; able to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear & concise manner and present to all levels of management
  • Ability meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
  • Ability to motivate direct team and lead without direct authority & build strong relationships with crossfunctional business partners
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
