At the Dr.

Kurt Blindow Schools, you will benefit from our extensive experience in training Chemical Technical Assistants with a focus on environmental analysis.

The work of a CTA includes tasks in preparative and analytical chemistry, laboratory and research work, process and product control, as well as environmental monitoring and development.

You will plan and conduct measurements and experiments, document, monitor, and analyze results.

During the 2-year training program, the following job-related learning areas/subjects will be taught both theoretically and practically: * Separating and purifying substance systems * Qualitatively analyzing substances * Determining concentrations volumetrically and gravimetrically * Preparing solutions * Photometrically examining substances * Thin-layer and gas chromatographic analysis of substances * Physicochemical analysis of substances * Creating and analyzing organic preparations * Electromagnetic and spectroscopic analysis of substances * Analyzing substances using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and electrophoresis

Cross-disciplinary learning areas: * German/communication * English/communication * Politics * Sports * Religion/values and norms

A four-week internship is included in the training program.
