Description

SCOPE
Provide leadership to the Quality groups and oversee quality programs and requirements for one region.

Is responsible for control of the Quality Management System, Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, APQP, customer contact, and lessons learned from corrective/preventive actions, and maintaining certification to IATF or other applicable standards.

Will track, analyze and report on quality trends and product non-conformance issues, and lead major problem resolution and product recall efforts for one region.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead root cause investigation and resolution of escalated quality incidents and high severity quality escape teams in compliance with industry best practice methodologies (E.g. 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, A3) and Quality Management System requirements.

Support the development of supplier quality through supplier assessment, nonconformance correction, or supplier development project execution when site escalated or assigned.

Leading/participating on teams to assure the integration of new acquisition sites into the Quality Management System
Drive execution of quality initiatives across the operational sites to achieve strategic quality improvement objectives (E.g. Customer Incident Rate, PPM, Cost of Poor Quality, Inter-Company Incident Rate, Supplier PPM, etc.).
