At the Department of Computer Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, the position for a

Research Assistant (f/m/d)

at the Chair of Software Engineering is available at the earliest possible date until June 30, 2023.

Requirements:
Applicants should have a completed academic degree in computer science. They should possess in-depth knowledge of programming languages and software security.

Research experience and relevant publications in the areas of designing programming abstractions, formalization and implementation of programming languages with a focus on security and privacy in distributed systems are required.

Experience with programming languages used in distributed systems, such as Java, is desirable.


Responsibilities:


Participation in teaching and research (with a focus on theoretical foundations of programming languages and efficient implementation of language abstractions).

Collaboration in various international research projects. Independent research with the goal of further academic qualification. Participation in the acquisition of new research projects.

The provision of services also serves the purpose of academic qualification.
