Requirements:
At least a qualifying secondary school leaving certificate

Artistic talent for drawing and painting

Manual dexterity

Enjoyment of design

Good color vision

Passion for the theater scene


Responsibilities:
Preparing and processing various surfaces

Painting and designing decoration parts

Creating stage sets using various painting techniques


Duration, Structure:
The training lasts for 3 years, starting on September 1st and is divided into theoretical and practical sections


Theoretical Training:
Vocational school classes in block form at the Louis-Lepoix-Schule in Baden-Baden (total of 12 weeks)

Subjects include analysis of stage and set designs, architecture, landscape, figurative representation and their artistic implementation


Practical Training:
The practical part takes place at the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg

Weekly working hours of 39 hours:
Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm

Friday from 9am-1pm

Vacation can only be taken during the theater's break (August)
