**The AWO District Association Berlin-Mitte e. V. is one of the largest providers of refugee accommodations in Berlin and the operator of several counseling services for refugees.


Starting immediately, we are looking for a
Social Care Worker for our refugee accommodations:

• 
  Refugium Hausvaterweg with a weekly working time of 20 hours. Fixed-term contract until with the option of extension.

Accommodation at Tempelhof Airport with a weekly working time of 20 to 39 hours. Fixed-term contract until with the option of extension.


Job Description:

• Reception and admission of residents, as well as initial information on all organizational and contentrelated questions regarding accommodation and management of occupancy.
• Implementation of the services contractually agreed with the state of Berlin and fulfillment of the state's quality requirements.
• Participation in the organization and implementation of group events.
• Contact person for conflicts and problems in the facility.
• Monitoring of mandatory appointments and their compliance by residents.
• Conducting exit interviews with residents and preparing necessary documents.
• Supporting residents in participation and integration in the city.
• Communication with authorities.
• Maintenance of resident files.
• Determination and documentation of statistical data.

Requirements:

• Relevant training as a social assistant or at least three years of professional experience in the social field.
• Experience in working with refugees.
• Intercultural competence.
• Confidence
