Job Description:

The Manufacturing Supervisor reports to the Director, Operations.- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the injection molding operations, stores and shipping department- Takes care of daily management and supervision/coaching of employees working in your teams- Ability to lead, communicate, coordinate, and present effectively ensuring clarity to drive expectations in a high tempo, technical environment- Ensure proper record management and traceability for manufacturing.- Executes production schedules based on product introduction, high efficiency, capacity, prioritization, and materials supply - run daily status needs- Plans and administers procedures and makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.- Makes decisions to hire/train/exit personnel to ensure the efficient operation of production- Set-up and maintain files for departmental purchases for all direct reports - support negotiations to purchase items (as needed), approves times in/out/off, oversees people operations- Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies - maintains department matrices- Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas - reviews/revises weekly shipment information, review/revises milestone and delivery reports with various departments- Verify records and logs are up to date and complete to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies and Teledyne standards.- Verifies manufacturing and test equipment is running, calibrated, and approved for production use utilizing preventive maintenance methodologies, includes tooling.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Engineering or Business operations field and a minimum of 5 years directly related experience providing leadership in an assembly/manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Practical experience and training in Lean Manufacturing Principals and Continuous Improvement- Machinery trouble shooting skills preferred- Basic knowledge of ISO9001 and/or AS9100- Able to multi-task with multiple concurrent projects is required as well as general knowledge of supply chain management- Able to lead, manage, appreciate, include, and work with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures- Able to resolve internal issues, perform root cause and corrective action, and manage conflicting priorities To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Software and GANT Charts- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.- Must be a US Person.

When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.


Salary Range:
$93,500.00-$125,950.000
