As a business and association federation, it gives the entire real estate industry a voice at the national and European level - and within the Federation of German Industries (BDI).


We are currently seeking a full-time
Policy Officer (m/f/d) for Housing and Rental Policy to join our team in Berlin as soon as possible.


What will be your responsibilities?

  • You will provide professional guidance to ZIA committees on housing and rental policy issues, particularly in the management of the internal "Residential Real Estate" committee.
  • Your main tasks will include the preparation and political analysis of legislative measures in the field of German and European housing and rental policy, as well as monitoring current developments.
  • You will draft position papers and statements, participate in association hearings, and engage with political decisionmakers on current housing policy issues in Berlin.
  • You will work on concrete projects at the interface between politics, business, and academia.

What skills should you bring?

  • You have successfully completed a postgraduate degree in a social or economic science field (political science and/or business administration/economics or a comparable field) or a degree in law.
