The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research center in Germany. With over 3,000 employees, we conduct an extensive scientific program in the field of cancer research.


Together with university partners at seven renowned partner sites, we have founded the German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research (DKTK).

For the Frankfurt/Mainz partner site of DKTK, the German Cancer Research Center is looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) for the Joint Imaging Platform / diagnostic and interventional radiology for a maximum of 83 hours per month, starting as soon as possible.

The Joint Imaging Platform (JIP) is a strategic initiative within the German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research. The goal is to create a technical infrastructure that enables modern and distributed imaging research within the consortium. This is essential for the translation of AI into clinics. The focus is on the use of modern machine learning methods in medical image processing using Docker containers (Kubernetes). This is intended to strengthen collaboration between the participating clinics and support multicenter studies.
