Classroom Monitors create and maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and to provide positive educational experiences for all students.

The Classroom Monitor does not necessarily replace an absent teacher.

Examples:

Virtual Lab monitor, be assigned to Internal Suspension, used to purchase a position funded by IDEA for an additional person in ASD cluster programs, etc.

Pay Rate:
$15.00/hour

Classroom management; teaching strategies; special education and other information you'll need to know to become a stellar substitute teacher, from legal aspects of the job to how to handle confrontational behavior from students.
