Malteser International (MI) is the international humanitarian aid organization of the Sovereign Order of Malta. For over 60 years, we have been assisting people worldwide who are affected by poverty, illness, conflicts, and disasters.

In over 30 countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, we support people in need - regardless of their religion, origin, or political beliefs.

To support our Asia regional team, we are looking for a:

Asia Officer (m/f/d) with a focus on Pakistan/Afghanistan

Your tasks:

Planning and management of humanitarian aid and development cooperation projects
Monitoring, accompanying and ensuring the quality of MI projects in Pakistan and Afghanistan
Project proposal, reporting and accountability to donors
Ensuring the correct implementation of projects according to the guidelines and regulations of different donors and in close coordination with project managers and local partners
Support and advice for local project partners
Assistance with public relations and lobbying
Selection, support and management of deployed project staff

Your profile:

You have a completed (university) degree in a relevant field
You have several years of professional experience in humanitarian aid and/or development cooperation with proven project experience abroad
Experience in working with national partners and countryspecific experience is an advantage
You have competencies and experience in project management and are familiar with strategic planning and implementation of donorfunded projects (Federal
